Cranial Osteopathy is a refined and subtle type of osteopathic treatment that encourages the release of stresses and tensions throughout the body, including the head. It is an effective yet extremely gentle approach making it particularly suitable for babies, children and the elderly, though anyone may benefit from this type of treatment. The treatment involves very delicate movements of the bones of the skull and pelvis as well as the rest of the skeleton. Cranial osteopathy is particularly useful at treating babies and young children suffering from sleep problems, infantile colic, hearing problems, such as glue ear, asthma, and some learning and behavioural problems. |
